Are you looking for a summer job with great benefits? Housing and Residence Life is hiring NOW for the following positions:
- Summer Desk Assistant. The main responsibilities of the Desk Assistant involve providing services to residential students in their assigned community.
- Summer Resident Advisor (RA) (summer school + intern housing). RAs will gain experience working in a leadership environment, meeting and interacting with residents, and creating a strong living/learning community.
- Summer Maintenance Assistant. Maintenance Assistants provide support for building maintenance and renovations. Skills learned include: general repair, painting, plumbing, locksmithing and carpentry. Prior experience is welcomed but not required.
- BES Custodial Staff. The main responsibilities of the BES Summer Custodial Staff is to help clean the residence halls from students moving out during the academic year.
- Conference Housing Assistant. CHAs are responsible for facilities/room preparation, checking guests in/out of housing, key management, inventory control, operating information desks, administrative tasks, and providing support to non-affiliated University visitors.
- Conference Housing Assistant - Team Leader. CHA-TLs will help coordinate daily operations and serve as a working, peer supervisor to fellow CHAs.
- Housing Ambassador. HAs are primarily responsible for leading tours of residence halls, representing HRL at recruitment events, providing customer service to students and their families during campus visits and in the HRL office.
