As an on campus resident, you know first-hand that the experience you have here is incomparable. But did you also know that living on campus contributes to greater overall satisfaction and success in college? Studies have shown that students living on campus have higher GPAs than those living off campus and are more likely to graduate on time. On campus, you have access to trained staff around-the-clock, and save valuable time commuting that can be used to your academic and social advantage.
Return to Campus Living
Fall 2025-Spring 2026 Residents:
Return to Campus Living (RTCL) will launch in late January. We will send a follow-up message in a few weeks with important dates and details.
RTCL gives current residents an opportunity to select space before we begin assigning new incoming students, but does not guarantee on campus housing for the upcoming academic year.
We have set aside space specifically for those interested in returning to on-campus living for the 2026-27 academic year, but please know that space will be limited. RTCL is lottery-based. An open room selection appointment time does not guarantee a housing assignment, but provides an opportunity to participate in the process. Our goal is to provide interested returning residents with an opportunity to live on campus if space is available while also meeting the increased need to provide housing for first-year students.
Start thinking about your housing plans for next year so that you have the opportunity to explore all of your housing options, including those off campus. If you are unsure where to begin your off-campus search, consider starting your search with our Niner Choice Program. We’d also encourage you to mark your calendar for the Off-Campus Housing and Resource Fair, scheduled for February 3, 2026 in the Student Activity Center. That will give you the opportunity to talk with a wide variety of apartment complexes and on-campus resources.
