Residence Education Coordinator (REC)

Welcome to Niner Nation! 

The Department of Housing and Residence Life is looking for dedicated professionals to lead, connect, and serve the residential students of UNC Charlotte. Residence Education Coordinators (RECs) are full-time, live-in leadership positions in our residence halls.

We require a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree but the most competitive candidates will have:

  • a Master’s degree in higher education, counseling, and/or student personnel services (or a related field)
  •  Two years of housing experience at the graduate or professional level  
  • Demonstrated ability to blend the academic and residential components of student life.
  • Additional experience in staff supervision and educational/social programming 

As vacancies occur, we open a nationwide search for individuals who have the experience, skills, and talent to serve our residential students and positively contribute to the Residence Life program.
