What do you love most about being a Niner?

I love the overwhelming sense of security. I think that it is impossible while being a student here to be completely alone. No matter what you are dealing with or going through, someone has shared that problem more than likely. We also have so so so many resources that help so many people like CAPS, UCAE, and so many others. I also appreciate the location of this university and the ability to so easily visit the largest metropolitan area in North Carolina, as well as closer proximity to the beach/ mountains than most of the United States could ever hope for.

What made you want to be a Housing Ambassador?

I have always lived with younger siblings and my family, which I loved, but it was very comfortable for me, so I decided to live on campus and go with random roommates to diversify my experience. Once I did, I fell in love with it. I knew I wanted to get more involved and so I applied to be an HA to share my love of living here and help others get there too.

What extracurricular activities are you involved with on campus?

I am involved with the 49er Running Club.

What is the best part about living on campus?

For me the best part about being on campus is having everything within reach, it is so incredibly rare I need to leave campus, and if I do, it is because I want to have fun uptown or go shopping or to a sporting event, not because I need to. I also love all the built in ways to make friends and to connect with new people who can be from any part of the world.
