Are you looking for a summer job with great benefits? Housing and Residence Life is hiring NOW for the following positions:
- Summer Resident Advisor (RA). (summer school + intern housing). RAs gain leadership experience while engaging with residents and building a strong living-learning community.
- Summer Maintenance Assistant (MA). MAs support building maintenance and renovation projects in the residence halls. Skills gained may include general repairs, painting, plumbing, locksmithing, and carpentry. Prior experience is welcome but not required.
- BES Summer Custodial Staff. BES Summer Custodial Staff assist with cleaning residence halls following student move-out at the end of the academic year. Responsibilities include tasks such as trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
- Conference Housing Assistant (CHA). CHAs provide hospitality services and support to guests staying overnight in residence halls while attending summer camps and conferences at UNC Charlotte.
- Conference Housing Assistant - Team Leader (CHA-TL). CHA-TLs work alongside CHAs as peer supervisors and assist with coordinating daily operations for the summer conference housing program.
- Housing Ambassador (HA). HAs are responsible for leading tours of residence halls, representing HRL at recruitment events, and providing customer service to students and their families during campus visits and in the HRL office.
