Move in for residents joining us for Summer First Half Term is scheduled for Sunday, May 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Move in for residents joining us for Summer Second Half Term is scheduled for Sunday, July 6 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Move-In Tips
- Review our Summer Move-In Guide. Being prepared and well-informed will help to ensure that you have a smooth move-in experience.
- Follow your Hall’s Driving and Parking Directions. Summer residents will check in at their assigned halls' front desk. Review your hall’s driving and parking directions here.
- Bring a photo ID. You will need to provide identification to pick up your key.
- Upload your ID photo and set up your 49er Mobile ID. In order to access the residence hall, residents need to set up their 49er Mobile ID. Set up your mobile UNC Charlotte ID at least 1 business day before your arrival. If you haven’t yet, please follow the instructions here.
- Only two guests are permitted. You may bring a maximum of two guests to help you unload and carry your belongings. These two guests must remain the same all day- they cannot be swapped out for additional guests.
- Bring your own moving equipment. We are unable to provide hand trucks or carts to assist your move.
- Only pack what is essential. You can find our recommended packing list here.
