What do you love most about being a Niner?

What I love most about being a Niner is the limitless opportunities on campus. There is a club for all people, a wide variety of dietary options within dining halls, cost effective housing options and on campus job opportunities. Regardless of who you are or where you are coming from, you’ll be supported by UNC Charlotte.

What made you want to be a Housing Ambassador?

I came to campus very nervous about living on campus and unsure of the transition from living at home to living on campus. However, I was presently surprised by how smooth the transition was and how supported I felt by the Housing and Residence Life staff. I became very familiar with my freshman RA and REC, and the Housing office always answered my questions. While looking for an on campus job, choosing to be a Housing Ambassador felt like an easy choice with a wonderful experience I’ve had with on campus housing.

What extracurricular activities are you involved with on campus?

I am involved with two on campus ministries, Campus Outreach and RUF. I am also a part of the Gospel Choir and Student Accountability Board.

What is the best part about living on campus?

The best part of living on campus is the convenience. Everything you need is within a 10 to 15 minute walk. UNC Charlotte has so many options to accommodate students who are far from home or without a car. We have a gym, hair salon, dining,a mail room, post office and so much more.
