Return to Campus Living: Coming January 27/29

Article Date

Return to Campus Living (RTCL) is coming soon and now is a good time to begin thinking about your housing plans for next year.

RTCL provides an opportunity for current residents to select space on campus for the upcoming academic year before we begin assigning new incoming students, but does not guarantee on campus housing for the upcoming academic year.

The RTCL housing application will open on Jan. 27 for women and Jan. 29 for men. Please read the information below carefully.

We have set aside a limited amount of space specifically for those interested in returning to on-campus living for the 2026-27 academic year. RTCL is a two step process for current residents to apply for housing and potentially claim a space during open room selection. An open room selection appointment does not guarantee a housing assignment, but provides an opportunity to participate in the process. Our goal is to provide interested returning residents with an opportunity to live on campus if space is available while also meeting the increased need to provide housing for first-year students.

You can find more information about RTCL here.

Start thinking about your housing plans for next year so that you have the opportunity to explore all of your housing options, including those off campus. If you are unsure where to begin your off-campus search, consider starting your search with our Niner Choice Program. We’d also encourage you to mark your calendar for the Off-Campus Housing and Resource Fair, scheduled for Feb. 3, 2026 in the Student Activity Center. That will give you the opportunity to talk with a wide variety of apartment complexes and on-campus resources.
