What do you love most about being a Niner?
What I love most about being a Niner is the vibrant sense of community, diversity, and endless opportunities for growth and connection on campus.
What made you want to be a Housing Ambassador?
I wanted to be a Housing Ambassador because I know how overwhelming it can feel stepping into a new chapter of life, and I wanted to be someone who could make that transition easier for others. Living on campus has been such an important part of my personal growth, and I genuinely enjoy connecting with people, sharing my story, and helping them feel like they belong. To me, being a Housing Ambassador isn’t just about showing people where they’ll live, it’s about creating a sense of home and community that stays with them long after they’ve moved in.
What extracurricular activities are you involved with on campus?
I serve as the Publicist for the Black Law Society, the External Vice President of Unity in Diversity, and I’m also the host of my own podcast in partnership with Charlotte Current, where I explore meaningful topics.
What is the best part about living on campus?
The best part about living on campus is definitely the convenience and community, it’s what I like to call the “double C’s.” Everything I need is right at my fingertips, so there’s rarely a reason to leave campus, and the sense of connection with others creates a true feeling of belonging.
