What do you love most about being a Niner?

What I love most about being a Niner is the community and people here on campus. Our student body is so diverse so to be around different people everyday on campus makes me proud to be a Charlotte 49er!

What made you want to be a Housing Ambassador?

What made me want to become a housing ambassador is the opportunity to help prospective and incoming students, as well as their family members, with their housing needs here on campus.

What extracurricular activities are you involved with on campus?

I was an orientation counselor on the 2024 orientation team, formerly OC #24. I am a social media ambassador, so I make content for the university through Instagram (follow @niner_ja), I’m a Niner Aux Guide, so I help shape how Business Services communicates with students to enhance campus life. I am also the Publicist of the Black Student Union.

What is the best part about living on campus?

The best part about living on campus to me is the connections you get to make with fellow students inside your residence hall. Also, I think that being close to campus and engaging in events is a huge plus!
