What do you love most about being a Niner?
Being a Niner means living in one of the fastest-growing cities in the country. Charlotte, especially the University area, is thriving with diversity, culture, and a wide variety of things to do at all times. You’ll never be bored as a student here.
What made you want to be a Housing Ambassador?
I am passionate about being a friendly face during a time of large transition for people. I remember how scared and confused I was as an incoming freshman, and if I can make that even slightly easier for somebody else, I would be thrilled.
What extracurricular activities are you involved with on campus?
Alongside being a Housing Ambassador, I am a bookseller at the Barnes and Noble on campus, an Arts and Culture columnist for the school’s local paper (the Niner Times), and Vice President of the Legendary Game Club.
What is the best part about living on campus?
The community, hands down. Absolutely anything you need or want is available on campus for students—from food and shopping to health centers and networking events. Even on the rainiest Tuesday afternoon, you have the opportunity to come across Fraternity tables throwing pies at each other for charity, the Union’s popcorn bar, or an impromptu concert at the Star Quad.
