Continuing and Returning Students: The availability of space for continuing and returning students is extremely limited. We must prioritize remaining space for entering first-time-in-college (FTIC) students, new transfer, and new international students. Please remember that if you do choose to apply, you will be required to pay the non-refundable $100 housing application processing fee and that does not guarantee housing. It will likely be mid-to-late summer before we may be able to begin housing continuing students and by then off-campus housing options may be limited.
Click the Apply for Housing/Login button to the right to access the Online Housing System. Use your NinerNET credentials to sign in. From there, you must complete the basic application and submit a $100 non-refundable housing application processing fee*. In order to successfully complete your housing application you must:
- select 6 room type preferences
- sign your housing contract
- fill out a roommate matching questionnaire
- create a roommate group (optional)
- pay the $100 non-refundable housing application processing fee*
- submit your housing application
- choose a meal plan
*NOTE: The housing application processing fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee a housing assignment. Non-refundable fees are not appealable through the Tuition, Housing, and Dining process or to any other University official.
Application Tips
Before you begin the online application process, take a few minutes to review the information below and familiarize yourself with what you’ll need in order to apply:
- Prior to applying, have your 800 number and credit card ready (if a non-refundable housing application processing fee is required).
- Review all of the building and room types available on campus and identify six preferences to add to your housing application. You can explore our halls here.
- As part of this application, you will be asked to identify an emergency contact and a missing person contact. You will need a name, address and cell phone number.
- Review meal plan options and requirements here.
- Review all special interest housing options (learning communities, honors, accessible, international, sorority/fraternity etc.) and any additional submission requirements (separate applications, required documentation etc) of the programs.
- Review the housing contract for the application you are going to submit here.
- If you have preferred roommates, make sure that you collect their 800 numbers and make sure they have yours. You will be required to enter the student identification number of all desired roommates.
- NOTE: All students in the desired roommate group must request the same roommates in order for any of the group to be assigned together. It is also best that students complete their applications within the same week to ensure that they are processed at the same time.
