What do you love most about being a Niner?
I love the diversity and liveliness of our community. Just walking around campus, you feel more than welcomed to get involved.
What made you want to be a Housing Ambassador?
I wanted to be a housing ambassador because I am very passionate about the housing offered at UNC Charlotte. It is honestly one of the biggest reasons why I chose to come to this university. I have never seen housing offered at a university quite like this one. The options are like no other. I wanted to work somewhere I would be proud to represent and show off to others.
What extracurricular activities are you involved with on campus?
On Campus, I am involved in a plethora of different programs. The SAFE program, Students Achieving First-Year Excellence, a peer mentoring, academic readiness and transition support program designed to help students successfully matriculate through their first year at Charlotte. I am also a part of Emerging Leaders, providing leadership training and mentorship to first-year, first-time students at UNC Charlotte. I am currently a CAB, Campus Activities Board, Event Coordinator. CAB is the largest student programming organization and is responsible for planning diverse, quality events for the university community. It fosters 49er spirit and traditions such as comedy shows, movie nights, game shows, live music, and more.
What is the best part about living on campus?
The best part of living on campus is the community right at your doorstep. Living on campus provides students with many opportunities to build relationships, implant roots, and sets students up in the best environment to make the most of their college experience.
