What do you love most about being a Niner?
I love the diversity and liveliness of our community. Just walking around campus, you feel more than welcomed to get involved.
What made you want to be a Housing Ambassador?
I wanted to be a housing ambassador because I am very passionate about the housing offered at UNC Charlotte. It is honestly one of the biggest reasons why I chose to come to this university. I have never seen housing offered at a university quite like this one. The options are like no other. I wanted to work somewhere I would be proud to represent and show off to others.
What extracurricular activities are you involved with on campus?
On campus, I’ve been fortunate to be involved in a variety of organizations that have shaped my college experience. In my first year, I participated in the SAFE program (Students Achieving First-Year Excellence) and Emerging Leaders, both of which provided mentorship, leadership training, and support for a strong transition into college life.
Currently, I serve on the Event Staff for the Campus Activities Board (CAB), UNC Charlotte’s largest student programming organization, where I help organize campus-wide events such as comedy shows, live music, and movie nights that build community and school spirit. I am also an active member of Women in Business, where I connect with peers and professionals through networking and development opportunities, and French Club, which allows me to further explore language and culture outside the classroom.
What is the best part about living on campus?
The best part of living on campus is the sense of community right at your doorstep. Being surrounded by peers creates endless opportunities to build relationships, feel connected, and truly immerse yourself in campus life. Living on campus also makes it easier to get involved with organizations and events. Having all of these opportunities within walking distance makes it simple to stay engaged and sets students up for the best possible college experience.
