I took on a Dual RA/DA position because I felt I could contribute more to the UNC Charlotte community while making a direct impact on students. The most satisfying part has been being a source of information for residents, whether they are adjusting during their first days on campus or going through a hard time. The role has strengthened my communication and problem solving, and taught me to maintain composure in difficult moments and represent the department with professionalism and integrity. I plan my week ahead, batch similar tasks, and never hesitate to reach out when I need help.
