The Edge, Student Housing
The Edge is another great housing option to consider. As a University-affiliated apartment property, The Edge is committed to UNC Charlotte student success and offers a convenient, walk-to-campus location with off-campus amenities. While The Edge partners with Housing and Residence Life, it is independently operated by American Campus Communities. As a result, Housing and Residence Life does not manage leases at The Edge, and all lease agreements are handled directly through their office. Please note that agreements with The Edge are separate from Housing and Residence Life contracts and are not interchangeable.

Niner Woods, Graduate Student Housing (Anticipated for Fall 2026)
Niner Woods offers an off-campus housing option exclusively for UNC Charlotte graduate students. Niner Woods is located directly adjacent to campus at 9800 Mary Alexander.
The property features 1 and 2 bedroom apartments (bed and desk provided) and is managed by Pegasus Residential.
