I chose the RA role because I have always had a passion for helping others and being a leader. Working in the Honors College building means many of my residents stay for two years, so I get to grow alongside them and keep those relationships even after they move on, and that lasting connection means more to me than any financial benefit. The role has also made me a stronger communicator and a sharper reader of people, which matters for where I am headed in strength and conditioning. Planning ahead and keeping structure is what makes it all fit together.
